Dubbed "The Bluewater Issue", the all-new Krogen 50' Open glides across the July/August cover of PassageMaker magazine! We had the pleasure of having editor Jonathan Cooper aboard for a sea trial during this past spring's TrawlerFest in Stuart, Florida, and we appreciate his understanding of all we accomplished with this new model.
Cooper begins his "Open Season" review with a flashback to the introduction of one of the most legendary Kadey-Krogen models to-date, the Krogen 58', by saying, "When Kadey-Krogen Yachts launched the first hull of their new-for-the-new-millenium Krogen 58’, PassageMaker founder Bill Parlatore wrote this: 'It can be a leap for a boat builder to introduce a new flagship, a vessel markedly different or larger than its existing models. This is especially difficult when the builder decides to raise the standard of quality and equipment at the same time. Kadey-Krogen has apparently done just that.' Those same words could be written today, some 18 years later, to mark the launch of their newest design, the 50’ Open."
